DESCRIPTION
TEOSYAL RHA KISS is a sterile, transparent, apyrogenic viscoelastic gel based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid of nonanimal origin and containing 0.3 percent lidocaine by mass for its anesthetizing properties. TEOSYAL RHA KISS restores lip volume and creates volume that corrects wrinkles/lines.
Depending on the corrections to be made and the results sought, one or more treatment sessions/retouch-ups may be required to achieve an optimal result. This should be determined by the health care provider responsible for treatment.
PRESENTATION
- Each package contains two prefilled syringes of TEOSYAL RHA KISS®.
- For each syringe, the box contains two sterile 30G1/2″ needles and two tracking labels (one to be given to the patient and one to be left with the physician for him or her to enter into the patient’s medical record).
- The volume of each syringe is indicated on the packaging as well as on each syringe.

COMPOSITION
- HMW-HA cross-linked hyaluronic acid concentration: 23 mg/mL.
- Crosslinker rate: 3.1%. MoD †: ~3.1%.
- Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.3% by mass.
- Phosphate buffer pH 7.3.
- Qsp at 0.7 ml.
INDICATIONS
- TEOSYAL RHA KISS® is indicated for adding volume to the lips and/or defining their contour.
- The product is also indicated for filling facial wrinkles, such as perioral wrinkles.
- Lidocaine is a local anesthetic indicated to reduce painful sensation.

INJECTION DEPTH
TEOSYAL RHA KISS® is injected into the mucosa to treat lips or into the mid-dermis to correct wrinkles/skin lines.
ACTION
Hyaluronic acid is a major component of the basic substance of the extracellular dermal matrix.
A genuine molecular sponge, its helical structure allows it to trap up to 1,000 times its weight in water.
Hyaluronic acid is widely distributed in skin tissues and hydrates the skin; however, its amount in the skin decreases with age. As the skin becomes thinner and more fragile, the first linear wrinkles begin to appear.
TEOSYAL RHA KISS® is a biodegradable implant and slowly resorbs over time.
TEOSYAL RHA KISS® is injected into the mucous membranes to treat lips, or into the dermis to correct wrinkles or linear lines.
TEOSYAL RHA KISS® restores lip volume and creates volume that corrects wrinkles and linear lines. Depending on the corrections to be made and the desired results, one or more treatment/retouching sessions may be required to achieve optimal results. The number of sessions should be decided by the treating specialist.
POSOLAGY AND MODE OF ADMINISTRATION
TEOSYAL RHA KISS® is designed to be injected by licensed medical specialists or, where applicable, health professionals, in accordance with local regulations. In order to minimize the risk of potential complications, the product should be used only by specially trained specialists experienced in injection techniques and who are familiar with the anatomy and physiology of the injection site and surrounding areas.
Prior to treatment, patients should inform the physician of their past medical history and be informed of indications, expected outcomes, contraindications, precautions and potential side effects. The patient’s need for analgesic therapy with a local or regional anesthetic drug should be assessed.
AREAS TO BE TREATED
- The areas to be treated should be disinfected with an appropriate antiseptic solution.
- Injection with the needles provided in the package is strongly recommended.
TEOSYAL RHA KISS® is designed to be injected slowly into the dermis to correct wrinkles and linear lines, or into the mucous membranes to treat lips. For injections into the lips, do not inject more than 2 per session.
