Description
Hyalubrix 30 mg / 2 ml is a visco-supplementary pre-filled syringe capable of replacing synovial fluid, restoring joint function and mobility.
How and when is Hyalubrix 30 mg / 2 ml used?
The injection of the product must be carried out by competent medical personnel.
Inject the solution once a week for a 3-week cycle.
If necessary, further injections can be performed.
Side effects
Transient pain and / or swelling and / or effusion in the joint may occur following intra-articular injections , but also cases of acute inflammation characterized by joint pain, swelling, effusion and sometimes a sensation of heat and / or stiffness in the joint.
Hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylactic reaction, anaphylactoid reaction, anaphylactic shock and angioedema have also been reported.
Contraindications
It must not be injected into the joint in the presence of venous or lymphatic stasis in the affected limb.
It must not be used in the presence of infections or severe inflammation or skin diseases or skin infections in the area where the injection is made.
Do not inject intravascularly.
Do not inject extra-articularly or into tissues or synovial capsule.
Do not use concomitantly disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts for skin preparation, as hyaluronate could precipitate in their presence.
Contraindicated in pregnancy or lactation.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
Composition of Hyalubrix 30 mg / 2 ml
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 1.5%, Sodium chloride, Dibasic sodium phosphate 12H2O, Monobasic sodium phosphate 2H2O, Water for injections.
How is Hyalubrix 30 mg / 2 ml stored?
Store the product in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources that could compromise its integrity.
